Dal 1986
Three houses, one family. Italian home cooking in Lisbon.
CASANOSTRA
Casanostra is an Italian restaurant in Bairro Alto, opened by Maria Paola Porru in 1986 to show Lisbon that Italian cooking went far beyond pizza and pasta. Forty years on, it still does everything as it did on day one: fresh pasta made in the house, carpaccios of its own invention, and recipes from all across Italy.
In the same house in Bairro Alto, run by the same family that opened it.
CASANOVA
Casanova is an Italian pizzeria on Cais da Pedra, in Santa Apolónia, with the Tejo at its door. It opened on 25 April 2000 and has made Roman-inspired pizza ever since, with slow-fermented dough and wood-fired ovens brought from Italy.
PIZZA A PEZZI
Pizza a Pezzi is a pizzeria al taglio in Lisbon, between Príncipe Real and Bairro Alto: big trays of pizza cut with scissors, sized to whatever you fancy and however hungry you are, to eat there or take away.
